After a 60 hour work week and now enjoying beer and ice cream, TheShape108, Velius, and EttenCo bring you a late Friday episode of The Unreasonable GamerCast. Kicking things off with a movie EttenCo has seen, ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ starring Clive Ow…Gerald Butler. After that we talk ‘what you been playing’ for well over an hour as EttenCo delves into the world of Dragon Age and hole digging in MineCraft. Velius discusses his very busy plate of Castlevania, Fallout New Vegas, Super Meat Boy, Shadow Complex, and Game Dev Story. Finally TheShape rounds it out with a play by play of last weekends ExtraLife spectacular, Split/Second, F1 2010, and a full review of Japan’s newest export Vanquish.
After that its onto the news as we talk about Patches in games, the New York Times trying to predict gaming trends, the Xbox silver membership rename, Medal of Honor’s first day sales, the possible Killzone 3 collectors edition, and a batch of updates from BlizzCon.
Then its on to the startling report that Gamers tend not to finish games, the good news that EA has bought the Angry Birds publisher, and the sour news that MineCraft ‘fans’ decided to attack the game for its troubles.
Finally we give shout-outs to some friends of the show Alzer and WetLaundry and then answer some viewer mail and questions.
